In 1998 I was given a copy of a book 'How to Out-Sell, Out-Market, Out-Promote, Out-Advertise, Everyone Else You Compete Against... Before They Even Know What Hit Them' by an author named Paul Gorman.
So started my fascination with direct response marketing.
From there I studied a wealth of content by other greats like Dan Kennedy, David Ogilvy, Chris Cardell, Joe Polish, and many more.
I spent years testing different strategies , convinced that direct response was the only method of marketing that truly works.
David Ogilvy sold out Rolls Royces entire US inventory with an ad that ran in 1958! Fast forward to today and you have brands like Tesla creating pre-sales and taking deposits using Webinars for their new car launches.
